All of my friends and family love this recipe and yours will too!
Needed:
1/2 an Onion Diced
1 TBS Garlic Powder
1/2 Stick of Butter
1/4 Cup of Sour Cream
1/4 Cup of White Flour
2 Cups of Heavy Cream
2/3 cups of Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 Cup of Shredded White Cheddar
2 Packages of Thawed and Drained Chopped Spinach
1 16 oz Can of Artichoke Hearts Drained and Chopped Corsely
2 Quart Sauce Pan
Ceramic or Glass Baking Dish that Doubles as a Serving Dish
Directions:
*Sauté the onions, garlic powder and butter until translucent.
*Whisk in the flour until the mixture is smooth on a low heat.
*Whisk in Heavy Cream and Shredded Parmesan Cheese. Cook on low heat, whisking constantly and cook until smooth.
*Pour the hot ingredients into a heat safe mixing bowl.
*Add remaining ingredients into mixing bowl - reserving 1/2 of the cheddar cheese for topping. Mix until all ingredients are blended well with fork or spoon. Do not use a mixer for this step or your ingredients will be too smooth and you will lose all the great textures.
*Pour the ingredients into the baking dish and top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
*Put the baking dish in the oven until the cheese bubbles on top for approximately 15 minutes.
